Curacao Vacation Rental By Owner | Villa In Westpunt Village

Hello and thanks for your interest in our family’s vacation home. I’m Mike J. After falling in love with the laid back island of Curacao, our family bought two adjacent oceanfront lots in 2008 with the dream of building a vacation home there. The property sits at the western edge of the island in the small village of Westpunt. There is a government marker on the property that actually denotes the westernmost point of Curacao.

The villa was designed by local architects who had three charges: 1) Incorporate the amazing location and views into the home as much as possible, 2) Create a kitchen that any chef would love to use and  3) Keep it casual.

Villa Surrender was completed in 2012. Ninety nine percent of what you see in our home had to be shipped from other parts of the world! We named it Surrender and fly a white flag on the property to gently remind all who visit, to leave their cares behind and to “surrender” to the magnificence of the location.
