About Me
Roscoe Village Inn is a vacation rental set in the trendy neighborhood of Roscoe Village in Chicago, Illinois. Roscoe Village Inn was founded in 2011 by Ron Kinn & Kim Meyer-Kinn. Kim runs the day to day operations of the property. She is a former retail buying executive who wanted a more family friendly career to take care of her then toddler. Ron is heavily entrenched in the Roscoe Village area with his local business- Skyline Insurance Agency and as an officer of the Roscoe Village Chamber of Commerce.
We have both travelled quite a bit and recognize the importance of the comforts of home vs. the alternative of cold and sterile hotels. Thus, the birth of our brainchild- Roscoe Village Inn!
We have 2 guest houses— the first floor was our first rental we offered in 2011. It is a lovely unit which boasts a gourmet style kitchen and walk onto large back deck. It also features a king size bedroom, tranquil bathroom and sleeps 6. The second unit we offered, as of 2016, is our 3rd floor unit. This beautifully bright unit sleeps 4 and features high-end granite & stainless eat-in kitchen and 2 queen size bedrooms plus a spa-like bathroom.
Both units are cozy and comfortable and have been described as “home away from home”. Each interior was designed and decorated by Kim, and especially the 1st floor is filled with souvenirs gathered throughout her travels of Asia. The backyard garden, which can be enjoyed by all, offers tranquility from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The charming Roscoe Village shops, pubs and eclectic restaurants are only a block away from Roscoe Village Inn’s front door. We are also 2 blocks from the Brown line CTA train stop or ½ block from CTA bus stop- which connect you to all the city’s hotspots. Have a car? No worries, there is plenty of FREE PARKING on the street with no permits or payment required.
