About Me
My husband and I have been married over 20 years. We have two children, a boy and a girl.
They are getting older and we are wondering how much longer my children will want to vacation with us.
My husband, Bill was very reluctant to travel on vacation somewhere that is 10 hours away from our home. As we drove down the Pigeon Forge Parkway for the first time, my children and I were so excited about all the museums, dinner theaters, indoor skydiving, and restaurants (just to name a few things we saw) on the parkway our first trip to Sevierivlle.
When we got to the cabin, my husband said I could drag him 10 hours anytime. He loved the mountain views. The kids love all the activity. They never get bored. I love the hikes in the Great Smoky Mountains. I also love all the history in the area.
For me, I like to conquer a vacation. I like to pack as many things into a vacation as I can. I fell that I may never be in that area again, so I want to do as many things as I can. There are so many things to do in Sevier County, that we haven’t even done everything on my bucket list yet. We have been going to the area for years. My husband feels that vacations are for relaxing. This area is the perfect compromise. I don’t mind sitting there relaxing if I am gazing at those beautiful Smoky Mountain Views. This seemed like the perfect place for us to buy our vacation home
