This Wrigleyville vacation rental home is distinctive, warm & inviting; comfortably furnished & fully equipped with everything you need to feel at home while visiting Chicago. For at least 9 months out of the year you’ll take delight in having some outdoor space too! Our peaceful & lush gardens are the perfect place to gather over coffee, a glass of wine or the dinner you’ve cooked on the grill.
The home is on Lakewood Avenue—an enchanting street lined with 100+ year maples trees and historic buildings. The homes here were built between 1890 and 1930 and we have done our best to preserve the integrity of the grand old Greystone; leaving all the historic charm of the period, while adding modern amenities. It’s a quiet street, yet so close to all the bustle and excitement of the neighborhood!

This trendy, family friendly northside neighborhood is lively and vibrant and represents one of the city’s greatest concentrations of live theater, entertainment and dining attractions. Lakeview is the largest community in Chicago and comprised of several smaller more distinct areas which include Wrigleyville, the Southport Corridor, North Halstead AKA: ‘Boystown’, East Lakeview and the Sheridan Station Corridor.
WALK to WRIGLEY FIELD!
April through September (and hopefully through November for the play-offs!), this is the neighborhood that draws in baseball fans from all over the country to see a game at one of the nations oldest ball parks, Wrigley Field. Though we’re not all about baseball, Wrigley Field and the Park at Wrigley offers a beautiful open-air destination for farmers markets, community events, festivals, dining and so much more. The neighborhood is also known for its amazing restaurants— Tamales to tiramisu; the dining choices in Lakeview / Wrigleyville are endless. No matter what you have a ‘hankerin’ for; you’re sure to find it within walking distance of the Chicago Guest House.
WRIGLEYVILLE MUSIC SCENE
The Lakeview music venues and concert halls in Wrigleyville tops that of any other area in Chicago. Bands travel from around the world to play shows here. Tiny dives with a stage in the back of the bar are just as established in the music scene as the large theaters that seat thousands.
THE BELMONT THEATRE DISTRICT
There are over 50 theaters located within a 1 mile radius, officially making Lakeview the largest theatre district in Chicago. The Belmont Theatre District offers theater lovers the best of edgy neighborhood theater, the country’s largest concentration of improv theaters, daytime & late-night shows, standup comedy and dinner theater.
SHOPPING THE SOUTHPORT CORRIDOR
The Southport Corridor of Lakeview is 2 blocks to the west of the home where you’ll enjoy the festive atmosphere of Wrigleyville without the crowds! It is here that you will find an incredible selection of restaurants, cafés, bars, groceries, and shopping—big name chains & unique boutiques. Continue to stroll along Belmont Ave, Sheridan and Halstead and you’ll see why Lakeview has the reputation of being the hippest shopping district in Chicago.
