Founded in 1931 by Anna and Archer Huntington, this amazing garden museum is a National Historic Landmark that aims to preserve the indigenous plants and wildlife while also displaying art and sculpture in a gorgeous, natural setting.
The Brookgreen Gardens boasts the world’s most important collection of outdoor sculptures, with more than 1,400 works by over 350 sculptors! It also has the only zoo on the Carolina coast that has accreditation by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
